Scully Leather Men’s Canvas Pant

Scully Leather Men’s Canvas Pant in durable cotton is designed to emulate the style and fit of the pant as they were actually worn in the 1800’s. Back then, pants had a very high rise in the front and back—a spinoff to the waist overalls miners wore. By removing the upper part of the overall and making a pant that could be worn with or without suspenders, the pant became more versatile. The high rise proved practical for cowboys as it allowed them access to pant pockets while mounted on a horse.

Note: The waistband of this Scully Canvas pant will fit higher above the waist than other jeans you will find. We suggest to purchase a size up than what you would usually purchase because of this high rise.
